About Us
Iron Horse Performance Ponies was founded in early 2016 and is based out of Iron Horse Performance in Burlington, Ontario under the guidance of professional trainer/owner Susy Niles.
We strive to find talented prospects and develop them into competitive show partners. We pride ourselves in taking the time to develop each animal with a program that will bring out their fullest potential. Nicole has worked under Susy for many years and has found quite a niche in the pony industry.
We offer breaking, training and commissioned sales within Iron Horse, aswell as ship-in schoolings. References are available.
Susy Niles is the proud owner and operator of Iron Horse Performance. With many years of experience under her belt as well as veterinary medicine, Susy has confidently guided our team to be the best we can be.
With 25+ years of riding experience, Susy’s passion for horses began in her childhood years. Susy took advantage of any opportunity to learn good horsemanship skills and this is a skill she has been passing on to her students.
Iron Horse has a large team of hunters and jumper show riders who compete on the Trillium and A Circuit levels. Our passion is to train horses and ponies along with students to be competitive at any level. Susy is currently competing in the Modified Grand Prix's aboard her imported warmblood.
Rates
Full Training Board $1850 (+HST) /month
Includes: box stall, daily turnout, quality grain 2x a day, customized training programs and exposure to other elements
(unstarted ponies also welcome).

VitaFloor
Our horses are fortunate to have use of a VitaFloor which helps with their overall condition/ performance. The floor helps to increase muscle mass, improve balance, reduce injuries, and speed healing times on said injuries.
